	I started painting as a young child at the encouragement of my parents. We lived in London, England at the time and visited many of the great art galleries there as well as in other cities in Europe. I was fortunate in that I got to see many great works and famous paintings at a very early age. Upon returning to the states I took art classes throughout my school years and beyond. I use acrylics because they are easier for me to control. I like to paint a variety of subject matters from landscapes to still lifes, from classic old cars to portraits. For me, painting is a journey that will never end. I am always learning new techniques and getting new ideas about what to paint. I get a lot of satisfaction out of creating new works and spending time with the theme, composition, color, and shading. I graciously accept and appreciate the positive feedback I receive from others and am constantly humbled by the magnitude of what I have yet to learn. Thanks and I hope you enjoy my art.
